Jobs Which Need No Experience

For someone who is dreaming of becoming a truck driver, the day he passes the licensure for a CDL or Commercial copyright would be the best day of his life. So what is next after you finally overcome all the hardships, tests, and examinations? You're probably imagining the type of job you're going to have in the trucking industry. You're probably planning to apply for truck driver jobs right away. But do you know where to start? This is the normal case when you can test if enrolling in truck driving schools can really make a difference in you application.



I was transferred to the active reserve for the next six years. I lived in Rockaway Beach, NY and I was assigned to Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn. When I reported to Fort Hamilton I explained that I lived in Rockaway and Fort Tilden in Rockaway was just minutes from my home. Could I be transferred there which would save a lot of driving time. Within a week I was assigned to an JD Truck Training Centre anti-aircraft battery at Tilden. I would be trained as a lineman stringing communication wire. I could hardly wait.

Another topic that will help you find a great trucking job is the type of equipment you drive. Your truck is your tool and also your home. Some carriers replace equipment more often then others. When considering a job ask how often the fleet trucks are replaced. Newer trucks can be more fuel efficient, and have less wear and tear damage on them. There is nothing worse for a truck driver than being stuck in a small town waiting for a simple repair to be made.

The CDL written exam tests your knowledge of commercial driving and traffic laws in the state of Massachusetts. You can prepare for the written exam by attending a Massachusetts Truck driving school.

Many schools will also offer financial aid. The money you are required to put up front is sometimes a big limiting factor on what type of school you can attend. Offering financial aid can open up your opportunities. Find out how long it will be before you are required to begin making payments after graduation. Most schools will allow you 3-6 months before you start making payments.

First I like to point out the legal side. This is a BIG ONE. Being a truck driver is fun and you can make a lot, or a ton of money. So what do I mean legal? Because we both know that you need a CDL license to drive... When I say legal we are looking at your MVR (Motor Vehicle Record). Why is this important? If you have 1 too many violations most trucking companies will not hire you. This is what the HR Truck Licence schools do not tell you.

Now second and lastly I like to talk about your experience. Some of you may have already been in a truck and know what it is like. Others have not a clue what to expect and are eager to know. So breaking the ice of the unknown will greatly increases your chances of survival of going through the school of hard knocks.

You must be able to pass a physical exam and a drug test given by the U.S. Department of Transportation. This is to ensure you have no physical conditions (or substance abuse) that will interfere with the safe handling of a commercial truck. During your employment, you will also be subject to random drug testing. You must Hr licence also pass the physical exam every two years while employed as a truck driver.
